This year, from the 15th to the 17th of November, Barcelona will host the 11th edition of the Smart Cities Expo World Congress.
By 2050, the world population is expected to reach 10 billions, and 70% of people will live in cities. Smart Cities, an international leading event, aims to create a better future for citizens around the globe, by promoting social innovation and identifying collaboration opportunities. In this upcoming edition, the discussion will revolve around topics such as:
- Inclusive cities, with public services and areas accessible to all citizens;
- Sustainable cities, where public transport is carefully planned to coexist with innovative mobility options;
- Safe and collective cities, where collaboration among residents plays a central role.
As for last year’s event, the congress will be a hybrid experience, with in-person program taking place in Barcelona, and a parallel digital program broadcast by TomorrowCity.
We are happy to share that ENGIE Laborelec, one of the IN-HABIT partners, will present the project at their booth (Gran Via Hall 2, Stand F 120) on Wednesday 16th November in the morning, between 10.30 and 11.00.Â
To access the venue and attend the in-person program you can buy your pass here. If you’re not able to be in Barcelona, you can still participate by following the digital program on the TomorrowCity platform, free of charge.
