IN-HABIT’s project coordinator Mar Delgado was awarded at the 2022 edition of the Empezar Fest, which took place on the 15th of November
The coordinator of @INHABIT_H2020 and @MOVINGH2020 and @MOVINGH2020 Mar Delgado receives the ‘Mujer Avanza 2022’ award for her contribution to the economic and social progress of Andalusia in the fields of research and scientific dissemination.
The awards recognised the role of 6 women with an entrepreneurial spirit. Mar Delgado received the award for her role as Project Coordinator of FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects. At the moment, she coordinates 2 Horizon projects: IN-HABIT aiming to increase inclusive health and well-being in small and medium size cities and MOVING, which analyses how to boost the resilience and sustainability of European mountain areas. She acknowledged the Andalusian Ministry of Innovation for including Research in the award categories and advocated the role of women as research leaders, cheering women researchers to take this responsibility.
This first ‘Encuentro Mujer Avanza’, will bring together women entrepreneurs and businesswomen who stand out, especially, for their contribution to the economic and social progress of Andalusia in the fields of innovation, technology, knowledge, investment, dissemination and entrepreneurship.
