February 20, 2023
Lucca acoge la quinta Asamblea General de IN-HABIT
February 23, 2023IN-HABIT project is aimed at inspiring new co-management models for implementing ideas and actions co-designed by the stakeholders in IN-HABIT partner cities. For this purpose this project supports a mix of innovative co-management schemes to be explored in each city, based on the principle of mutual interest. These can be : (i) Pacts of Collaboration (voluntary work in return to tax breaking); (ii) community bartering such as voluntary work in return for non-monetary incentives; (iii) social public procurement (iv) promotion of new social enterprise initiatives ; (v) new business models involving local (disadvantaged) people to co-manage the public spaces and its services.
A strong focus is given to labour, training and socialization opportunities to women and young people as changemakers that might engender multiplier effects on local communities.
In this frame TSR Urban Social Research, partner in IN-HABIT, is organising ad hoc lectures and inputs with external experts, citymakers and practitioners which could inspire the creation of new ideas for co-management schemes:
