Celebrate the International Day of Forests with us!

March 21st 2022 marks the International Day of Forests. To celebrate it we are joining the #HugATree social media campaign organised by CLEARING HOUSE. From 1st March and over the course of three weeks, CLEARING HOUSE will post a photo and a fact about nature, trees and (urban) forests and we will participate by sharing them on our own pages and by posting news on the progress of Lucca’s Animabili, paths that will connect the historic centre and the ancient walls of the city to the surrounding green areas. 

To take active part in the campaign, share with us your own photos of nature by using the hashtag #HugATree. It could be your favorite spot in the local park, a tree or plant that has a special place in your heart, or even just a shot taken during your last nature walk.
